We were fortunate enough to find the Woodman Inn for our wedding in December 2023. We had a first class experience from start to finish. Our events manager Kieran was so accommodating- if you're looking for a relaxed and flexible venue then look no further. The staff team were incredible- every single one of them. Nothing was too much trouble. Our guests spoke so highly of their experience- from the rooms, to the food and everything in between. The catering was excellent- tailored to dietary requirements without any fuss. The location is perfect- tucked away without being in the middle of nowhere. Our day was seamless, everything was so well organised and we didn't need to worry about a thing. If we could get married again, we would choose The Woodman without hesitation. What a place!

Stayed this weekend for a night away and a meal out. Place was epic! Even managed to accidentally pick our own room 😁 Is it a 6 or 9 😆. Service was outstanding, the gentleman taking control was fantastic 💪 The meal in the restaurant was amazing and the breakfast was out of this world. Very highly recommend. Stayed in a room in a separate building on the opposite side of the road. It's been converted from an stone cottage and done well. Our room had a view out over a stream - v. pleasant. Main issue preventing 5 stars is the sound proofing: other guests coming and going and snoring from the room above very noticeable. Full Yorkshire breakfast was excellent.

We had another very pleasant stay at The Woodman. The food was excellent and the room of a high standard. We have stayed a few times before and always enjoy our visits. The countryside is beautiful. We will definitely be back!
